Food Finds on Etsy

When hubby is asleep on the couch and the 2 older kids are talking to their friends and little Violet is watching Dora, I find time to surf Etsy. In doing so, I have come across the most amazing food finds ever!

I LOVE to cook, it really is what I love to do the most, but I hate to bake. It's to precise and exact, my style is more Rachel Ray if you will.
Because of this challenge I have, I find myself looking at all the beautiful sweets Etsy has to offer and wishing I could make that . I have to say the talent is AMAZING!  I think we can all agree, people eat with their eyes first, so the pictures have to be spot on. They need to tell a story about the food they are trying to sell. To me a picture is what will make or brake a sale.

I have a friend Lisa, who makes the most wonderful fudge I have ever had. It's MOUNDS fudge,  from Hillside Bakery. It has been delivered to my door more then once. It's packaged beautifully and  the taste is just like that of  a mounds bar.   The texture of the chocolate is silky and smooth, the picture speaks to me and screams, BUY ME, and I do.

Next on my list of great Etsy Food Finds  are these beautiful ediable butterfly cupcake toppers.
These lovely little accents are from  Sugar Robot http://www.etsy.com/shop/SugarRobot
The picture alone inspires me to bake cupcakes and buy these beautiful ediable buterflies.

Who doesn't like Apple Pie????  I love it, I thought these were so unique.
I never would have thought they can make marshmallows in apple pie flavor.
The picture is soft and inviting, it really makes me want to buy them.
They are from Have it Sweet. http://www.etsy.com/shop/haveitconfections

Being from Maine and one of my shops beach inspired, I fell in love with these.  They are from PasrtyGirls
They look like starfish from the sea, the picture is beautiful.

Last but certainly not least, is a shop called  SWEETS ON A STICK.

These are such a great idea. Perfect for B-day parties and showers, awesome center piece to any function. They are arranged so wonderfuly.  The picture I feel is perfect. It draws the buyer in wanting more. http://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetsonastick
I hope you give these shops a look. Also, when you have time take a minute to browse the different shops. At the very least it will help you really appreciate others talents and it may just inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, like me with baking, or at least BUY FROM THEM.
